And now scifi.com doesn't recognize me as coming from a US IP address, and won't let me watch things there. Awesome.

I wish I knew what resource these sites were using to make this determination, so I could fucking FIX IT.

You know how people sometimes say things like "more computing power than existed in <year>" in reference to some new computer, or their wristwatch, or whatever?

Is there a chart somewhere? I'd like to know, for example, how far back in history we have to go for my 8-core 3ghz mac pro to overpower the entire planet's computational capacity.
In what year would my wristwatch be able to take over for NORAD?
How many missions to the moon can my laptop manage simultaneously?
