Wrote my self-review this morning.
Company all-hands in the afternoon. First time we had to do it off-site.
Some pretty awesome announcements. The big one is "Paid, paid vacation". We've since demonstrated that it's the ultimate applause line, at least for now. This is the time to announce bad news. "You're fired. Paid Paid Vacation!" *WOO* "We're laying off half the company. Paid Paid Vacation!" *WOO* etc.
What's it mean? Means that not only do we get paid time off, but the company will also /pay/ for the vacation. Up to a certain amount, taxable reimbursement, etc etc, but still pretty f'ing awesome.
They're also going to 150% charity match, which is pretty awesome.
All sorts of other cool stuff, but those were the big two that stuck in my mind.
That's pretty much it for today.
