Another attempt to revive oort in a new body failed. Went to Fry's. Never let me go to fry's. Not looking for computer hardware, anyway. I don't know why I bother. The selection is /actually worse/ /every time/ I go. Not hyperbole.
Ordered some parts from Amazon. Waiting for the pending payment on my credit card to clear before I order the case, 'cause I want the reward points. So, I should have a new oort by the end of next week.
Work stuff is making slow progress. Needs to be making fast progress. Gotta work on that. Trying to redesign a fairly major and mostly complete piece of my project from the ground up, because it has to work in a completely different way now. Le sigh.
Still dealing with jet lag. Gets to be around 1pm and my body starts insisting that I should be in bed already. Been forcing myself to stay up late, but that's only meant '9ish' so far, and a fairly zombified 9ish at that. ::/
