Yesterday, we were told there'd be an all-hands call this morning at ten. I made assumptions about the content.
I do enjoy being right, even when I don't necessarily enjoy what I'm right about.
We've been sold. We're being absorbed into our only customer. Assurances have been made that things will more or less stay like they are, maybe with some improvements in benefits. I have some remaining concerns. Some of which, I admit, center on ways I wanted things to be changing in the near to mid future.
Also, I woke up sick. Yesterday's annoying tickle in the back of the throat, overnight turned into less a tickle and more a repeated-passes-with-a-dull-circular-saw. So I stayed home.
I'm planning to go in to the office tomorrow, just long enough to sit down and talk with my boss. Then come back home and continue being sick.
Also Joshua needs tabs, and for that needs an emissions test. Bother. Can't they just mail me a thing to plug into the OBD2 port and send back to them?
