I've not been sleeping well. Hard to get to sleep, harder to stay asleep.

Breakfast at Claire's Pantry. I found it disappointing.

Then went to the donut shop while there, our agent called to tell us the old house had been broke into. Again. This time they stole the plasma tv. Probably the same person as last time, back with someone to help with the tv. Even better, there was an open house scheduled and they damaged the wall removing the tv. So, we dug out some framed art and rushed over with tools. Took the tv mount off the wall, hung some art, painted a bit. Got out ten minutes after the open house started, about one minute after the first person dropped in.

Have a 9am endo visit, so took some Benadryl and went to bed super early. Did not, of course, get much sleep. M

Endocrinologist appointment. Went well. She's happy(ier) with my cholesterol numbers.. they're not good, but not causing her to panic anymore. She's set me up with the educator folks to talk about insulin pumps.. confirmed that U-500 R would be just fine in a pump. woot.

Staff meeting at work. Much backchannel .... snark. Also talked with boss about the nature of the replacement for the leaving senior dev... I said we need someone at least as senior as me, and if we can find a senior architect so much the better. I like being the big fish in the little pond, but I /am/ comparatively new to the whole architect role thing. Also talked about a bunch of other things I'm not going to go into right now.

Finally put together a household budget for the new place, and in the process updated Loree and my Joint budget... and it turns out we're not as completely screwed as I thought.. Having two more people to contribute to the expenses as well as someone who likes to cook is going to make things a LOT easier than we thought.

Would still be nice to win the lottery. Or at least sell the old house.
