Date: 2004-04-01 04:14 pm (UTC)The Gifting team builds software that runs wish lists, baby and wedding registries, eCards, the Gift Store, and more features that make Amazon the place to be for millions of gift-givers every day. We are looking for people who love to architect systems independently, write code efficiently, and solve problems elegantly. Successful candidates will be clear and enthusiastic communicators who are flexible, hard working, smart, and interested in the dynamics of communities on the Internet. Candidates must have experience building large, complex software systems, preferably in Java or C++, and a thorough understanding of algorithms, data modeling, and the product development cycle. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
