Let's say you're looking for a new GSM phone, and budget isn't a consideration. What phone do you get, and why?

I chose laziness over money. We filed our taxes last night, and rather than telling BECU to re-issue the interest statement in my name, so I could claim it, we applied it to [livejournal.com profile] loree's taxes. The difference it would have made to each refund was, itself, different by about $1100. That is, the total of our refunds would have been about $1100 more if I'd claimed the becu interest, instead of loree. But, it would have meant telling becu to reissue the form and waiting for them to get around to doing so, and I really wanted to get the taxes done and over with. So, of course, after submitting our returns, I start regretting the decision. Ah well. At least we're done, and accepted, and in terms of benefitting from our share of the interest it works out almost balanced anyway. la.

I'm still at work.
I saved the day again.
In the new group, I'll hopefully be able to make sure this sort of problem doesn't happen again.
Or, at least, no NEW code is written that causes these problems. Maybe I'll try to get myself tasked with a complete review of the offending codebase.

I just got home from work.
We started the push at 9am. We finished it before 10pm.

This is not the usual way of things.

And now, for a postmortem.
