I wouldn't mind an iPhone, but I won't switch to AT&T, and I don't want to deal with any future bricking issues from unlocking it. I'll wait until they come out with a version for tmobile.
That pharos looks nice, tho I'm personally wary of going back to wince. I remember strong and frequent urges to experiment my MDA's kinetic energy potential viz brick walls. The problem, imo, is that windows mobile is an os that you can run software one, but it isn't put on phones with the expectation that people will do so. They expect people to run what comes on it, which to me defeats the purpose. when you DO load it up with all the stuff you want to run on it, it can't cope and becomes unstable.
Actually, my Blackberry 8700g is a tough act to follow. I can't have, nor want, a camera on my phone, and this doesn't have one. What it does have is a GPS, Bluetooth, Yahoo messenger, shopping program, vehicle fuel management program, WeatherBug, traffic and a full-function browser. Long battery life and it can pick up a signal where those silly commercial-grade Verizon walkie-talkie phones can't.
It's the size of a paperback book, is a real computer, comes with full IM and Skype clients, is full speed 2.5G and 3G, does stereo fullspeed bluetooth, has a micro HD, loads of battery life, and is usable as a phone only if you have a headset.
Yeah, I don't really need another laptop tho. ::) I've got the N800, and two laptops. If I get a smartphone, I'm still going to use it for a phone half the time.
