tithoniumWell, ok, no single-proc testing.. I don't have a processor bus terminator.
BUT, having pulled every proc and put them back in, it boots. something clearly wasn't seated properly. So, now I've got a rather loud server with 8 550MHz processors, 2 gigs of ram, and two 8.5GB raid-1 arrays (on four 9.1GB 10K ultras2 scsi drives).
Originally, 'Moshtari' was designated for the mail server, but I think an octoproc is a tad overkill given the amount of email we process. Maybe web server. I /was/ thinking of moving sixmore onto it, once. I'll need more storage if I want to move all the websites to it. But I've got an external compaq drive bay I could use.
