I've had a pretty good day. I got a broken tivo from a coworker. I got my lilsmokey's free from the grocery store because they rang up wrong and I was being checked by a supervisor.

Then I get home and get the mail.

Everybody wants me to have a happy birthday. It's kinda nice. But when 'everybody' includes the Uptown branch of my bank - in /Portland/ - and I get a card wishing me a happy birthday, hand-signed by a half dozen or so people, hand addressed, and I don't recognize any of the names (at least, none of the ones I can read)... That's when I start to get a little weirded out.

I mean.. I know people in Portland, and I know people who've worked for my bank. I don't know that the sets overlap anywhere.

That's weird. That's the branch where I opened my checking account... YOU STOLE MY BIRTHDAY CARD! Er, three months early...

Man that economy is getting harsh.. they're desparate to keep their last customer.

BTW, it way past time to move to a Credit Union! Qualstar is awsome for savings accounts and you can join if you live, work or have a relative in King County. Their online banking (last I checked 3 years ago) wasn't so hot, but my checking account earned $75 last year. Not too bad for a checking account.

Well, this morning I just tossed 'em in a pan and fried 'em for a little while. Just enough to get them hot, really. But, I'm lazy.

Better ideas?

I like them boiled, but for parties, if you just dump them into a crock pot, they transcend all their amazing yumminess to a new experience!

Just the smokies, nothing else in the crock pot?

Hmm, I seem to think it was just the package, but it seems like there wouldn't be enough...I think I need to go get some and check this out.

Your life is a TV show, and they are the producers. And the producers' wives/husbands.

And now they're all moving to Fiji.
