I got the office I wanted, US2/659. It's empty at the moment, so I'll have it to myself. And with all the crap I'm taking with me, I think I might stand a good chance of KEEPING it private. Five filing cabinets, two chairs, a bookshelf... yeah, I think I'm good.

It's all about bribing the admin months ahead of time, and sending an email at just the right moment. ;;)

It's actually a good thing I'm moving teams, else I'd've ended up on the 12th floor with my new team and NO cube walls. There would have been a nasty fight about that. I /will not/ work out in the open like that.

I was talking about this with someone.. The cubes are all around the perimeter, with offices interior.. so you can get the 'prestige' of an office, or you can get a window. It makes things a bit more fair than they usually are. I, of course, am /avoiding/ the windows (don't wanna burst into flames, after all) so the office is preferable.
