All the parts for Vela arrived, along with various other things, so I brought them all home to assemble. Unfortunately, it turned out that the motherboard was bad: Bent pins in the cpu socket. Sooo it's being sent back and I ordered a new one. Should be here Thursday.
Meanwhile, the lighted kindle case I bought works well, so that's something.

loree to Le Bon Ton Roulé for her birthday dinner, BECAUSE SHE'S OLD. They had a pretty good pork poutine, and an acceptable cheese-stuffed burger. I ordered the carbonara to go and will try it later.
