I finally got around to downloading the video of Jon Stewart on Crossfire. DAMN that was good. He can have my babies any day.

So, I'm not-captain of the community volleyball team this year (only Ann and I were actually making noise about getting people to join up, and I didn't want to be captain [didn't feel right, not being in community anymore])...

Someone mentioned, during discussions of when we should practice, that we had a perfect losing record last year.

My reply:

My goal for our team this year is to finish in not-last place.

Ambitious, I know. But I think we've got a shot.

We're watching Looney Tunes, Back in Action, and there's a bit where Wile E Coyote is shopping ACME, via their website. It's nice they're finally in the 20th century. He orders something with 'instant' shipping. A big crate drops on his head. I comment "That's something Amazon could learn from.". Loree says, "Now THAT'S what I call drop shipping!".
