Apr. 29th, 2007 11:37 pmOk, so. New video card, everything's happy-ish. The game runs, but not great. It's playable, but I had to turn the music off 'cause it was choking. I turned off the second display, and turned down the detail. And then I skimmed thru the tutorial and played a few skirmishes. Then I crashed it playing with some cheats (hint: don't try to spawn 'concrete'). So, I rebooted the machine and came downstairs. Must sleep. But, fun game.
Still think I need to upgrade the system, tho. Still liking the idea of the mac pro. Need to ask them about upgrade paths on the hardware. And, you know, refi the house.

Nov. 13th, 2004 06:48 pmJust finished Halo 2 (on easy, of course), having started yesterday evening on normal, then started over. I'm rather annoyed at the ending, tho it's a good setup for 3, it leaves one feeling... unvindicated.
So, anybody else have it and have Live so we can kill each other online?
