Not my usual thing
Nov. 5th, 2004 10:20 pmAnybody else thinking/planning to go to Fluffy Bunny tomorrow?
It's not my normal kinda thing, but I like trance, know someone who's going, and have nothing better to do. So I figure I'll show up, hang out for a while, and leave if I don't like it.

It's the weekly thing, only not
Aug. 20th, 2004 07:43 amWe have a
randomdreams in town, and people want to have dinner with him. I haven't done Finn's for a while now, and people want to do that.
So, let's combine them, shall we?
I'm thinking 6pm tonight, Finn MacCool's. A little earlier than the usual 7, but still after parking becomes reasonable.

Weekly GTG update: Pool
Jul. 8th, 2004 02:01 pmThey're full for bowling reservations, and walk-in only anyway after 8pm, so.
We have a reservation for a pool table, at 7pm. If we want to bowl, they suggest getting on the waitlist when we arrive. However, bowling and pool are in different buildings, so doing both at the same time probably won't be very conducive to socializing. I suggest we do pool this week and bowling next week (I'll make the res early enough we should be able to get a lane.)
SO.. Y'all should show up. And, if you want to bowl next week, please let me know before, let's say, tuesday, so I can make a reservation early enough.
EDIT: FYI, they're 21+ only

This week's get together
Jul. 5th, 2004 03:47 pmSo, I'm thinking of going to the Garage this friday. Anybody have opinions?
I get the impression that reserving lanes/tables ahead of time would be a good idea.
Who would be interested?

I'm in this weird very-social mood today. I managed to get the largest crowd in months to go out to lunch on the south lawn today, then we got in some good frisbee time. It was great. I'm tired and sweaty, but that's ok.
I'm doing Finn's tonight. I was doing it anyway, but now I'm doing it to 'celebrate' my decision as to which team I want to join.
I'd love it if you (yes, you) could join. 'Cause the more the merrier and all that. Seriously, you should be there.
7pm, Finn's, on the Ave, north of 42nd. Pleeeease?

More or less for the hell of it, I went to the merc with corvi, dana, and craig. First time I'd been to the merc. Last time, I suspect, I'll go to the merc. ::)
Wasn't a bad place, don't get me wrong. But way too much smoke, and too loud to have any sort of conversation. And since I don't dance, there wasn't a lot for me to do there - esp since I didn't feel like drinking.
So I left after something like half an hour. Ah well. Now I can't complain nobody's invited me, at least. ::)

Get boozy with us
Apr. 16th, 2004 03:36 pmDoing finn's again, after a two-week hiatus. Everybody should show up. 7pm tonight.
(no subject)
Aug. 18th, 2003 07:06 pmI feel like I should be doing something. And so, recursively, I'm doing something: journaling about feeling like I should be doing something.
I've had a socialization bug of late... If I'm not hanging out with people, I feel like I'm missing something. I tried organizing a spontaneous gathering of LJers last week - didn't succeed, but had fun hitting a bar with friends, I went WAY out of my way to give some people a ride home after a morale event tonight, I get home and immediately feel like I should try to get people to do something. It's weird. Does my subconscious know something I don't? Should I be worried, hindbrain?
