Alrighty then.

I had my 1:1 with werner today. He had one of the two numbers. 70. I was polite, I didn't laugh.
We discussed my status on current projects, what I'll be working on next week, what I will and what I'll try to get done before I leave.

And then the headache started. A few times every spring and summer I get a headache at work, it starts in the sinus, it's gotta be allergies. It kills me. I had to leave; normally it goes away as soon as I leave the office. Today I came home and spent an hour in bed, and I still have it. It's not killing me, but it's still quite unpleasant and not responding to caffeine.

So, the guy from Jorve came back to talk to us, with a proposal. They can't do metal at all, no way, he talked to three guys. But, they can fix the roofline on the dormer, restore the kneebraces along the front, replace the three-tab with a new 50-year composite, etc etc blah blah, for about $25k. Which is a lot better than I was expecting. We can afford it, but we've decided not to. We'll pay for the hot tub work as soon as possible, pay off the joint credit card, then focus on saving up for the gazebo and throwing money towards the windows as convenient. Then do the roof next year.

Meh.

So, the headache kept me from going to Finn's, but now it's gone, and it's a little after 10, and I'm /bored/. Stupid inconvenient headache.
